Just some more photos of the inside of the house and the outbuildings:

So this is what happens when polymer clay comes into contact with `shrapnel' from an old garage:

The Collage House

The seed: a simple drawing on lined paper in ballpoint pen - my favourite `pencil' - to a photocopy that enabled me to add colour without the fear of ruining it; to extending the lawn and pathway to allow model figures to pose for effect and the roots of the idea was already jumping up and down in my mind stirring me into action and the Collage House was born and I am having the best fun with it!!

It is a combination of found and scrounged bits put together with a few purchased items.  It isn't to scale as it is a 3D collage and therefore not a doll's house!  I have used art board, but it can be done using an old cardboard box; and a supply of PVA glue; some old magazines; card stock and items that were languishing in my junk box waiting for employment.

Not only am I having fun with it, but I am also learning from my mistakes, making mental notes for future projects,  such as: art board warps - that was a big learning that is still slowly being rectified.  Maybe planning might be useful in some aspects, oh and remember to add all the tools and things to the outbuildings before attaching them to the main building!!!  This last point underlines the fact that human fingers, although somewhat flexible and very useful can be quite big and tweezers don't always behave as you want!
